Our aim is to provide extraordinary value to our customers
We support organisations through growth and times of high risk. We have witnessed countless of occasions where the absence of technical leadership has resulted in substantial financial losses, missing product market fit and even administration. The cost of poor advice is almost guaranteed to be higher than any cost associated with high quality, timely and experienced support and direction.
Our aim is to genuinely help our customers thrive. Almost all of our new customers come from recommendations of those we have previously supported and their investors. Our independent model also allows us to stand in the way of price-gouging third party suppliers and protect our customers from poor contractual terms.
The costs for our services are based on outcomes, we don’t operate on a per-day rate - which we feel provides a poor proxy for value. Instead we work with a customer to identify the outcomes they need and work out a cost that fits with the complexity and effort required to deliver that outcome.
Our lightest service is pure advisory. We support the executive team by coaching, mentoring and providing direct situational advice. Typically this is in a combination of regular one to ones alongside email and via your internal communication tools - teams, slack etc. The cost is similar to that of a junior software developer, but you get the experience of a CTO.
As the complexity increases we try to make our costs competitive to having an internal expert doing the same function. The difference is that we have short contracts, can be capitalised, don’t have hidden costs - national insurance, employment tax, equiptment costs, perks - are generally immediately available and take no equity. That last one is huge if your are a startup / growth company.
Even acting as your organisations CTO, where we take the full responsibility for your organisations technology, we charge less than a first-time CTO and yet supply a deeply experienced CTO backed by a network of skills and competencies from our partners.

It’s always frustrating to see a pricing page with no prices. The call-us enteprise sales approch is not one we like, but the bespoke nature of every organisation we work with makes it impossible to give a generic number and we don’t like setting false expectations - its one of the ways we are different.
